"Hello and Welcome to my About Me page. To give you a little background... I've been a "sewer" and interested in creating items to wear since I was a young teenager. I used to make many of my clothing items I wore to high school. From a career standpoint, I've held a few positions as a seamstress working for various individuals and companies. I've done alterations and custom sewing for the general public from my home, and was the shop seamstress for local Police & Fire Department officials. I've worked for Mad Bomber Company creating prototype styles of hats out of fleece, fur & leather that are still featured in many catalogs. I've also worked for an individual who had her own Women's Clothing company (Kollectible Kreations) where I created her various designs.
In 1991 I was approached by an individual from the Cherokee Tribe to attempt to make a leather garment. As it turned out my efforts were successful, and my skills in sewing leather rapidly developed over time to where I am now. In the past 14 years, I've made a variety of items for some Native American individuals that were sold at Pow Wows and distributed worldwide, as well as items for Black Powder enthusiasts that were sold at Mountain Man Rendezvous. These days I'm working on my own from my studio, making custom leather items from my own designs, for those who are interested in wearing and owning my creations. If you feel you are interested in more information about my unique leather items, I'd be happy to speak with you."
